Ms. Olivia S. Benson, Esq.

Ms. Benson has successfully practiced law for over two decades and is co-founder of the Law Offices of SquiresBenson, P.L. Her business experience resulting from a banking career prior to becoming an attorney enhances her law practice. She began her career as a management associate with one of the largest banks in the State of Florida. She was trained as an installment and residential loan officer, and then as a commercial credit analyst, ultimately becoming a commercial lender.

In the early phase of practice as an attorney, she was involved in significant work representing the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) in banking matters. Recognizing the value of community service, she also started and served as the executive director of a local community development corporation. Accordingly, her career has evolved from various perspectives, including the private sector and government.

Her practice emphasizes the following areas:

  • Commercial/Business and Real Estate litigation and transactions;
  • Commercial and Residential Landlord Tenant negotiations and litigation;
  • General Civil Litigation;
  • Probate Administration and Litigation, and Guardianships;
  • Wills and Trusts;
  • Business and Real Estate Transactions;
  • Religious Organizations' Law.

She serves as a Special Master, a quasi-judicial hearing officer, for code enforcement matters for the City of Miami Gardens.
